Wood & Laminate Floor Heating

For warmth in your home

wooden floor heating

Many choose wood or laminate floor heating for their homes to create a warm and cosy ambience in a room.

Our heaters are foil-based, ensuring even heat distribution throughout the room. Built with spring-like flexibility, the core wire is a durable cushion that can withstand heavy furniture, snooker tables, stiletto heels and other household items, provided installation is done correctly.

The heating pads are designed to never overheat and can be left on continuously. Sensors work in conjunction with an intelligent Warmup thermostat, which ensures that the temperature never exceeds 27°C under the laminate. From a performance and cost-efficiency perspective, we recommend a heating temperature of 24°C.

When choosing wood or laminate flooring, it is important to ensure good thermal conductivity, which is best when using denser wood. The thinner the flooring material and the higher the density, the shorter the heat-up time and the more responsive the system will be.

As this is not in-screed heating, the heating time takes longer and is effective within 2-6 hours of switch-on. Laminates must be heated evenly and gently, to ensure the expansion and contraction are steady and even. The wood & laminate underfloor heating is pet and child-friendly with no protruding cables or hardware, and is 100% waterproof, for those unfortunate incidents.

The running costs are comparable to (often less than) heat pumps. These heating pads use 200 – 3000 watts per bedroom – similar to that of a small oil heater.
